The 2016 Ningbo Mountain Marathon will take place on April 17. Registration will start next Monday at http://www.nbmarathon.com/.

Ningbo held its first marathon in Jiangbei District in 2014. This year's marathon will consist of a full marathon (42km) up to a height of 1,900 meters, a half marathon (27.6km) up to 1,066 meters, a group run (27.95km) up to 1,066 meters, and a happy run (8km) up to 480 meters.

Only teams with four members of both genders can enter for the group run. The four races are limited to 3,600 participants in all.

People aged 18 to 65 can join the full marathon; those between 16 and 65 can join the half marathon and group run; people aged 8 and above can join the happy run. They will all be covered by an accident insurance.
