Ningbo University is one of the top 100 Chinese universities officially authorized by the Ministry of Education (MOE) for the recruitment of international students sponsored by government scholarships. The university offers a variety of educational programs for foreign students, including short-term Chinese language training, undergraduate study and postgraduate study. Over 1,000 international students from 40 countries and regions have previously benefited from our programs.

The international students program boasts a faculty of experienced Chinese language teachers, 15 of whom have received qualification certificates of Teaching Chinese as Foreign Language. A bachelor degree program in Chinese Language and an English medium bachelor program of International Business Administration are offered specially for international students. Additionally, an HSK Examination Center authorized by Hanban is maintained by the university. Cooperation and exchanges with a number of overseas institutions are continually being strengthened.
