Additionally, the summit also saw the establishment of a think tank composed of 30 high-level professionals, which is expected to provide ideas for the future organization of the event and build a place for exchanges and cooperation between industry insiders.

The summit, which started in 2014, is an active response to the country's call to promote the Made in China 2025 plan, in the hope of upgrading its sprawling manufacturing sector with cutting-edge technologies such as big data and artificial intelligence.

Yuyao, a pilot county-level city of Zhejiang's "Made in China 2025" plan, is going to forge ahead with intelligent economic development following the summit.
