The CEEC Specialties Fair, part of the 3rd China-CEEC Investment and Trade Expo, opened in Ningbo, Zhejiang province, on June 9. The fair ran until June 12.

The fair set up 500 booths and involved the participation of nearly 300 enterprises from China and Central and Eastern European (CEE) countries, an increase of 15 percent compared those in attendance last year.

The number and variety of exhibits also increased 80 percent and the major exhibits include alcohol, dairy products, skincare products, agricultural products, and local specialty products from CEE countries such as Czech Republic, Hungary, Slovenia and Croatia.

This year's expo aims to bring China and CEE countries closer together in business and it is believed that more than 370 investment projects were signed during the event, covering a wide range of fields including infrastructure, tourism, chemical engineering, machine manufacturing, food and medicine.
