Preciosa, founded in 1724, specializes in creating complex lighting design solutions for luxury interiors worldwide. It entered the Chinese market 25 years ago and has cooperated with many Chinese five-star hotels, including Ningbo's Nanyuan Universe Deluxe Hotel.
This was the first time for the company to attend the expo in Ningbo, in the hope of further expanding their business in China, said Marek Hlavenka, managing director of Preciosa Lighting Asia Pacific.
Hlavenka also said that they have confidence in developing in China, although sales in the Chinese market are not the highest. However, the Chinese market lies within the top three the company wishes to expand in.

Mrhálek said that they want to show what kinds of products and services they can provide to Chinese customers and to help Czech companies find Chinese business partners via the expo.
Mrhálek mentioned that the expo is an important part of their Czech Year on Belt and Road program, which is launched to build up Czech-China cooperation.
