The 6th Ningbo photography festival had its grand opening in Ningbo Cultural Creative Park in the evening of Aug 25.

As in previous years, masterpieces from renowned photographers from both home and abroad were exhibited. The new addition to this year's event is the choice for photographers to submit their work to the organizer to hold solo exhibitions. The absence of entry barriers allows for greater creativity, imagination and new ideas.

Renowned photographers from the United States, Singapore and Japan also carried out their exhibitions. 2016 "Golden Camera" sponsored the awarding ceremony. The most influential national documentary photo award and Li Yuan Landscape Photography Exhibition attracted the attention of many people.

Many visitors participated in the festival by taking photos with mobiles and printing their works out for free. Some merchants provided customers with a series of free services such as including photo make-up, certificate photo shooting, and old-film restoration.

The opening ceremony eventually ended with the last event of the day. Daily photos provided by shutterbugs resonated through the crowd.
