More than 570 global buyers from around the world sought for business deals with Chinese suppliers at the 3rd Global Trade and Credit Conference in Ningbo, Zhejiang province on Sept 19.
Deals worth $42 million were successfully made, covering a variety of fields including garment, furniture, stationery and mechanical equipment, according to the organizing committee.
The Electronic Global Trade Credit Platform (eGTCP), a leading B2B e-commerce integrated service platform developed and operated by Ningbo-based Great Tao Group for global trade is a great contributor to the conference. Overseas purchasers were convened on the platform.
The platform, based on a credit system, helps build a bridge between buyers and sellers and provides services in matchmaking, financing and international logistics for its users.
So far, the platform has received 180,000 registered suppliers and 27,000 foreign buyers. Over the past one and a half years, the export volume based on eGTCP has reached $860 million.
