Ningbo dreams big in developing all-for-one tourism

Government officials in Ningbo, Zhejiang province reached a consensus on greatly developing all-for-one tourism at a conference on Dec 12.
Ningbo announced that they will establish a development committee for tourism, a strong signal of the city's determination in the industry.
Qiu Dongyao, mayor of Ningbo said China has ushered in a new era for all-for-one tourism and Ningbo, with abundant tourist resources, should keep close pace with the development trend.
All-for-one tourism focuses on the upgrading and integration of tourist resources, public services, government regulations and policies to boost overall social development by using tourism as a new engine for growth.
Once the development committee comes into service, a series of reforms will be carried out in the tourism industry to promote the integration of different sectors. Ningbo aims to build a new structure to ensure comprehensive services for tourists.
Heading to the end of the 13th Five-Year Plan (2016-20), Ningbo strives to realize the goal of having the number of tourists to the city and tourist income account for 20 percent of Zhejiang's total.
