A modern agriculture innovation park provides a platform for young people to run businesses in the Kaidun subdistrict of Cixi, Zhejiang province.
Out of love for agriculture, eight youngsters settled at the park years ago, applying internet concepts and technologies in agriculture-related fields.
Sun Yongtao is one of them. Concentrating on strawberry plantation, Sun has adopted new techniques and introduced quality varieties. To promote his strawberries, he turned to internet for online sales and launched picking activities for the visitors.
Sun is now considering constructing some entertainment facilities in his orchard to create a new mode that combines agriculture and tourism.

Next to Sun's orchard is a flower farm operated by a young couple. In 2017, the farm reached a total sales figure of 1.6 million yuan ($246,586).
Currently, there are more than 1,000 vocational farmers in Cixi. University graduates like Sun are dedicated to the development of agriculture, creating a strong team to boost rural revitalization.
The official data showed that there are over 1,600 makers running agricultural businesses in Zhejiang now, 88 percent of who were born in 1980s and 1990s.
