The 5th China Robot Summit and Intellectual Economic Talent Summit, the largest and most influential event in robot industry in China, took place in Yuyao, a county-level city in Ningbo, Zhejiang province, from May 9 to 11.

The event, themed on the combination of artificial intelligence (AI) and robots, highlighted an array of forums on different topics, a matchmaking symposium in the intelligent manufacturing sector and a display of world-leading AI technologies and robots.

More than 1,500 renowned experts specializing in robotics, AI and intelligent manufacturing, including Wang Zeshan, winner of the 2017 State Preeminent Science and Technology Award, China's top science award, gathered to share their professional insights into the development of the robot industry and intelligent economy.

The China Robot Summit has been held successfully for four consecutive years aiming to bridge the gaps between industry, education, and research. Hosted by the Zhejiang provincial government, it is an active response echoing the national goal of leading the world in artificial intelligence (AI) technology by 2025.
