Ningbo Polytechnic opens China-Africa vocational training class
Well-known Chinese professionals in this field and presidents of renowned vocational schools will be invited to give lessons at the class, and the Ningbo Polytechnic will serve as an example of the running of a vocational school in China to these representatives, according to Zhang Huibo, president of the Ningbo Polytechnic.
As the leading institute for the city's vocational education, Ningbo Polytechnic has gained much praise for its educational practices in countries involved in the Belt and Road Initiative, said Wang Weimin, vice director of the city's Department of Education.
It is China's foreign aid vocational education training base approved by the Ministry of Commerce, and has provided training for over 2,200 officials from 115 developing countries to date.
It has also carried out training programs in many African countries involved in the Belt and Road Initiative, with the vocational education college established in Benin being the first among vocational schools in Zhejiang province to have run a school overseas.
