1. Dayan Town

Dayan Town is a mountainous area located in the southwest of Fenghua district, Ningbo city. It boasts 12 mountains with an altitude of 500 meters above, among which Diyijian Mountain is the highest of all mountains in the district at 945 meters in height. Rare plants and animals such as the golden larch and the clouded leopard can be found in its well-preserved forests.
There is an ancient building named Chu'an Tang in town, which was built in 1796 during the Qing Dynasty (1636-1912) and is characterized by carved beams, painted rafters and wood latticed windows, typical elements of residences south of the Yangtze River.
Former residences, memorial halls and tombs of local revolutionaries and martyrs are also well-preserved in the town, reminding people of its great revolutionary history.
As the local government has been vigorously developing its tourism industry in recent years, more and more scenic spots and creative homestay inns have been established on its rural lands to provide visitors with beautiful scenery and a comfortable stay.
