The Nice Walkway along the coastline in Xiangshan county, Ningbo, Zhejiang province, was completed recently, becoming a landmark to bear witness to the friendship between Ningbo and the French city of Nice.

Rudy Salles, vice-mayor of Nice, visited the walkway and wrote down his wishes for the friendship between the two cities. He spoke highly of the sunny beach and said it made him feel at home.

The walkway was jointly built by Xiangshan government and Ningbo Urban Construction Investment Holding Co Ltd with an investment of 110 million yuan ($14.4 million).

Located along the sea in Shipu town, it stretches for 7.7 kilometers. It comprises a bicycle lane and a green belt for leisure, where pedestrians, bicycle riders and roller skating enthusiasts can have a break while enjoying the picturesque seascapes.
