4 large gymnasiums in Ningbo to open for free

Four large gymnasiums in Ningbo will be open to the public for free or with low fees charged thanks to subsidies from the central budget, according to news released by the General Administration of Sport of China.
The four gymnasiums include the Fubang Gymnasium, the Youngor Gymnasium, the City Gymnasium of Cixi and the Body Art Gymnasium of the Beilun Body Art Center.
As required by the General Administration of Sport of China, these gymnasiums shall open indoor public sports venues and facilities for free or charge low fees for no less than 35 hours a week in no less than 330 days.
The opening hours shall be no less than 8 hours on weekends, holidays or school summer/winter vocations.
The outdoor public areas belonging to the gymnasiums and related fitness equipment shall be open for free all year round, with no less than 12 opening hours every day.
The gymnasiums shall be completely open to the public for free on the National Fitness Day, which falls on Aug 8.
In case of being unable to open or needing to adjust the opening times for reasons of maintenance, training, events or weather, the gymnasiums must notify the public seven days in advance.
