An exhibition featuring creations made by two Ningbo artists during an exchange tour to Croatia opened in the Ningbo Museum of Art on Dec 14. 

The two artists, Wang Binggen and Zhou Feng, conducted a one-month art exchange with a local museum from Dec 20, 2016 to Jan 20, 2017, during which they met with local artists and experienced the country's culture and environment, creating many innovative art works in the process.

Han Licheng, director of the Ningbo Museum of Art, commented that Wang Binggen creates a magic world by combining traditional Chinese culture and modern international aesthetics while Zhou Feng expresses his inner self through innovative creation styles. 

"I use the Chinese lacquer as the painting material, to create modern art based on traditional Chinese culture," said Wang.

The exhibition, hosted by the Ningbo Federation of Literary and Art Circles and the Ningbo Municipal Commission of Commerce, will last until Dec 23.
