Ningbo shall strive to achieve high-quality development in the future in various aspects such as economy, innovation, reform and opening-up, and urban-rural integration, as agreed upon among the Ningbo delegation at the second session of the 13th provincial people's congress, which opened on Jan 27 in Hangzhou. 

The delegation reviewed the annual government report delivered by Provincial Governor Yuan Jiajun and emphasized that Ningbo as a big manufacturing city shall spare no effort in building a national demonstration zone for high-quality manufacturing development.

They also proposed to strengthen high-tech and innovation to enhance the integration of advanced manufacturing and modern services, provide more support for startups and private companies, expand industrial investment and deepen the administrative streamlining reform to create a sound business climate for companies.
