Renovations of three roads at the Zhejiang Ocean Sports Center in Xiangshan county, Ningbo, East China's Zhejiang province started on March 1 in preparation for them being used as supporting facilities for the 2022 Hangzhou Asian Games.

The roads, stretching 12.825 kilometers, will cost more than 171 million yuan ($25.52 million) and take 25 months to construct. 

It is hoped that the roads will help to significantly enhance the influence of Xiangshan county in China's sailing sports field, and promote the growth of local ocean sports and marine tourism.
