With many of its graduates successfully making their ways to Fortune Global 500 companies last year, a newly established educational institute in Ningbo, East China's Zhejiang province is gaining public attention.

Akhil, an Indian graduate from the 3C Program of the Ningbo Supply Chain Innovation Institute China (NSCIIC), is currently a supply chain manager of TMC, a subsidiary of one of the world’s largest logistics companies, C.H. Robinson.

NSCIIC was jointly established by the municipal government of Ningbo and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in 2016, and its 3C Program, the MIT-Zaragoza-Ningbo Master of Engineering in Logistics and Supply Chain Management, aims to help graduates become global supply chain leaders by enabling them to study in three continents: Asia, Europe and North America.

C.H. Robinson enjoys a long partnership with MIT, and NSCIIC as the only academic branch of MIT in China has been in close cooperation with it in program research and student internships since the institute was established. Akhil was the first graduate to be recommended to the company.

"The 3C Program impressed me most with its diversity, as it allows people from different backgrounds and cultures to gather together for studies. We make different friends and form a big family," said Akhil.
