The fourth China (Ningbo) Cultural Industry Fair will be held from April 12 to 14 in Ningbo, East China's Zhejiang province, local media reported on March 24.
The fair will focus on "Belt and Road" international cultural exchange, traditional culture and modern life, and intelligent high-tech cultural industries to boost the development of the local culture industry and promote cooperation. To this end, a series of exhibitions, transactions, forums and matchmaking conferences will be held.
International cultural exchange will be a highlight of the fair, in which Italy will serve as the guest of honor.
Specifically, an exhibition will be held featuring the works of Leonardo da Vinci, an Italian polymath of the Renaissance era. The exhibition will include 40 replicas of da Vinci's manuscripts in which he explores mechanical design, natural science, and anatomy.
In addition, the Palace Museum will display a number of creative cultural products outside of the museum for the first time, such as coffee and cosmetics.
The fair, initiated in 2016, has attracted nearly 1 million visitors and 3,500 companies from 50 countries around the world. The previous three fairs reached 1.25 billion yuan ($186 million) in transactions and witnessed the signing of projects worth a total of 32.39 billion yuan.
