In recent years, Jiangbei district in Ningbo, Zhejiang province has been utilizing the power of digital economy to boost the transformation and upgrading of its traditional industries.

Cloud computing, internet, big data, and internet of things (IoT) have all injected new vitality into Jiangbei's industrial development, as several major projects were launched in the district, and many companies are beginning to use online platforms for management and resource allocation purposes.

By the end of 2018, nearly 2,000 companies in Jiangbei had adopted cloud computing systems to improve work efficiency and lower operating costs.

JX Zhao's Group Corporation, an auto parts manufacturer in Jiangbei, has used online systems to realize comprehensive tracking of its products and shorten production time.

The government also announced a series of policies designed to encourage the development of online service platforms and provide customized support for internet and IoT companies.
