The Chinese Academy of Social Sciences published its 17th report on Chinese cities' competitiveness on June 24. Ningbo, the second largest city in Zhejiang province, ranked among the top 10 most livable cities and the top 20 most sustainable cities in 2018.

Hong Kong remained the No 1 most livable city and most sustainable city for the third consecutive year, on the back of its blooming economy and sound systems.

The Yangtze River Delta region ranked first compared with other metropolis regions to become the most livable region.
