Three local companies in Ningbo were included in the list of China's Electronic Enterprises Top 100, which was released by the China Information Technology Industry Federation in Tianjin on July 18.

Ningbo Joyson Electronics Co moved up 10 spots to number 20, while Sunny Optical Technology Co Ltd moved up five spots to number 34. Risen Co Ltd took the 77th spot.

The three featured Ningbo companies concentrate on automobile electronic components, integrated optical devices and solar modules respectively, and are all leaders in the city's information technology industry.

This year's top 100 enterprises have a total revenue of 4.3 trillion yuan ($628.3 billion), a year-on-year increase of 22.9 percent. The total assets of the 100 enterprises hit 5.5 trillion yuan, up 25 percent year-on-year, said Zhou Zixue, deputy head of the China Information Technology Industry Federation.
