Original drama Meeting Wang Yangming brought by a troupe from Ningbo, Zhejiang province was performed at the Edinburgh International Conference Centre (EICC) in Scotland, UK, on Aug 11.

The drama tells the story of Wang Yangming, a well-known philosopher in Ming Dynasty (1368-1644) who devoted himself to his country.

Brian Harry, chairman of the Royal Scottish Country Dance Society, praised the crew for their performance, expecting to recommend the drama to more people.

In addition, the drama team also attended the cultural exchange activities held by the EICC to promote local culture of Ningbo, showing its charm as the port of the 21st Century Maritime Silk Road.
