15 Ningbo companies listed among China Top 500 Private Enterprises

A total of 15 companies from Ningbo, East China's Zhejiang province were listed among China's Top 500 Private Enterprises, according to a report released by the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce on Thursday.

Companies in this year's list all registered operating revenue of at least 18.59 billion yuan ($2.77 billion).

Youngor Group, AUX Group, and Ningbo Jintian Investment Holding Co ranked 66th, 70th and 75th, respectively, with operating revenues of 87.926 billion yuan, 86 billion yuan and 83.99 billion yuan.

Youngor is a public textiles and clothing enterprise in Ningbo which focuses on the design, manufacturing, and sale of clothing products for men. The company was established in 1993 and was listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange in 1998.

Established in 1986, AUX Group dabbles in a number of different industries, including home appliances, electrical equipment, medical services, real estate and financial investment.

Jintian Investment is a large enterprise group specializing in copper processing and smelting, building materials, and real estate, among other things.

An official from the Ningbo Federation of Industry and Commerce said that enterprises which made the list were concentrated in the city's pillar industries, including automobiles, clothing, electrical machinery, and equipment manufacturing.

He also revealed that, compared with previous years, the listed companies all showed strong performance in terms of manufacturing digitalization.

Youngor has achieved complete digital management, which has shortened its mass production cycle from 45 days to 32 days and its customization cycle from 7 days to 5 days.

The number of employees working in the sector of intelligent manufacturing in Ningbo has reached 1.02 million, ranking ninth in the world and seventh in China.

According to the 2018 annual report on large-scale private enterprises in Ningbo, more than half of the 169 surveyed enterprises with annual revenue of more than 500 million yuan had promoted intelligent production and developed new business models through the use of Internet, big data, artificial intelligence and other technologies.
