The 2019 Yinzhou Bank Cup International Men's Tennis Challenger is slated to be held in Yinzhou district of Ningbo from Oct 14 to 20, local media reported.

Professional tennis players including Prajnesh Gunneswaran, Bradley Klahn, Bai Yan, Zhang Zhizhen, Li Zhe and Wu Di will participate in the event, vying for a total prize worth a whopping $162,480.

Prajnesh Gunneswaran, silver medal winner at the challenger in Ningbo last year, is currently the top ranked Indian singles player.

The challenger is sponsored by the tennis sports management center of the General Administration of Sports and the people's government of Yinzhou district. Nearly 80 matches will be streamed live on the ATP website.

Ningbo has become the only city in China to hold the event for 10 consecutive years since it hosted the first edition in 2010, when the Yinzhou tennis center was established.
