Six internet companies from Ningbo, East China's Zhejiang province attended the Light of Internet Expo 2019, which opened in Wuzhen, Zhejiang province on Oct 18.

The five-day expo is an important part of the sixth World Internet Conference held in the riverside town from Oct 20-22.

More than 600 firms from home and abroad are attending this year's event, showcasing the latest technological achievements in cloud computing, big data, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, industrial internet, e-commerce, and digital media.

Su Yuxue, president of Zhejiang Chinajey Smart System Co, said that this is the sixth time that he has participated in the conference which, in his words, offers an important platform for Chinese internet companies to conduct exchanges with worldwide leaders in the sector.

As an industrial internet platform operator, Chinajey has provided digital construction services to more than 8,200 small and medium-sized manufacturing enterprises and was selected as a pilot demonstration project platform for the integrated development of manufacturing and the internet by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology in 2017 and an industrial Internet innovation and development project in 2018.

This is the first time that Meixiang VR, another internet company based in Ningbo, has taken part in the conference. Zhao Liang, manager of the company, said that the company showcased urban big data visualization technologies at the event.

According to Zhao, the technologies aim to help cities improve their urban management through a visual operation management platform based on data collected from government departments.

In addition, several companies from Ningbo also launched their latest products on the sidelines of the conference.

Zhejiang Lanzhuo Industrial Internet Information Technology Co, for example, debuted its SupLink mobile application software based on its supOS industrial operating system, and Ningbo Yingling Network Technology Co released an AI product live broadcast network.
