The 20th China Plastics Expo will be held in Yuyao, Zhejiang province from Nov 6-9, according to a recent press conference.

The expo has been held in Yuyao every year since it was first conceived in 1999 and has become one of the most influential brand exhibitions in the plastics industry.

The expo will span 42,000 square meters and include 2,000 booths showcasing products such as plastic raw materials, plastic machinery and machine tool molds.

The expo will also set up pavilions for enterprises, including big names such as Sinopec and PetroChina, to demonstrate the latest products and technologies in the industry.

The 15th China Plastics Industry Development Forum will be held simultaneously with the expo and will consist of a main forum and six sub-forums.

A report on the development of Chinese plastics enterprises will be released on the sidelines of the event.

The expo has attracted a total of 9,888 enterprises from home and abroad and generated deals worth around 64 billion yuan ($9.55 billion) throughout the 20 years since its inception.
