Winners of Ningbo intl micro film awards announced

Twelve awards were announced during the closing ceremony of the fourth Ningbo International Micro Film Festival, which concluded in Ningbo, East China's Zhejiang province on Dec 16.
The festival drew more than 590 entries from home and abroad, including 67 scripts and 523 films, the most on record.
Twenty-five submissions were nominated for 12 different awards, including the Golden Snail Award for Best Short Film, Best Female Short Film, Best Animated Short Film, Best Director and Best Screenplay.
The film 2012 took home the Golden Snail Award, while Delicacy won the Best Screenplay Award.
The organizers, along with several film companies, launched the Bodi Media Young Director Plan during the festival.
Two films, 2012 and Bathroom Drummer, have been included in the plan and will be offered one million yuan ($149,253.7) each for script incubation and long film shooting.
The festival also offered a platform for China micro films to expand their presence overseas.
This year, the festival formed partnerships with numerous prestigious micro film festivals such as Show Me Shorts, the Busan International Short Film Festival and Turin Short Film Festival.
In addition, a total of 15 activities including forums, promotional conferences and exhibitions were held on the sidelines of the event.
The event was co-sponsored by the Publicity Department of the Ningbo Municipal Party Committee, Ningbo Bureau of Culture, Radio, Television and Tourism, Foreign Affairs Office of the Ningbo Municipal People's Government, Ningbo Radio and Television Group and the Nottingham Film and Television Industry Alliance.
