The sixth China Industrial Internet Conference was held in Ningbo, East China's Zhejiang province from Dec 19 to 21, according to local media reports.
About 1,000 participants - including representatives of leading businesses and investment institutions, experts and scholars - attended the conference.
It is the third time in a row that Ningbo has hosted the conference with the aim of promoting cooperation and exchanges in the industrial internet sector nationwide.
The sixth Report on China's Industrial Internet Development, released at the conference by a research body affiliated to 2B.cn, shows that transactions in China's e-commerce market will reach 39.3 trillion yuan ($5.86 trillion) in 2019, up 16.3 percent year-on-year.
This year's conference also featured keynote speeches by 50 industry insiders including Mark Brohan, a well-known American industry analyst, and Jonathan Copulsky, a lecturer in integrated marketing and marketing technology at Northwestern University.
A series of deals were agreed upon at the conference, which will accelerate the pace of industrial Internet development in Ningbo.
The conference is sponsored by Ningbo Municipal Bureau of Economy and Information Technology, Ningbo Municipal Bureau of Commerce, Yinzhou District People's Government and undertaken by 2B.cn.
