18 villages win national title
The National Forestry and Grassland Administration recently unveiled the second group of national forest villages.
A total of 3,639 villages across the country were added to the list, among which 18 are located in Ningbo, East China's Zhejiang.
A national forest village refers to an ecologically healthy and highly livable village with a well-preserved natural ecology, prosperous forest-related industries, and an effective protection and management system.
Here is a list of Ningbo’s new national forest villages:
Haishu district: Jinlu village
Jiangbei district: Nanlian village
Zhenhai district: Wamshixu village
Jinzhou district: Dongjiatiao village, Pingtan village
Fenghua district: Tengtou village, Sanbengqiao village, Waiying village
Yuyao city: Lanshan village, Shilin village
Cixi city: Wan'anzhuang village, Haixing village
Ninghai county: Mingzhu village, Meishan village, Shantou village
Xiangshan county: Qingshantou village, Jinji village, Banling village
