Multiple scenic attractions in Ningbo saw an influx of visitors during the Tomb Sweeping holiday, or Qingming, as the epidemic abates nationwide.

As of 3:00 pm on April 5, Xiangshan Film and Television town, a national 4A scenic spot, had received 15,000 visitors that day alone.

The scenic area's entrance was equipped with an intelligent anti-epidemic machine capable of disinfecting and monitoring visitors' temperatures.

Visitors were required to register their personal information before entering, while voice instructions were given to help them avoid crowds.

To attract visitors, some scenic attractions in the city have rolled out preferential policies such as free entry.

Jiufeng Mountain Scenic Area, Meishan Bay Beach Park and China Port Museum announced that they would open to visitors free of charge from April 1 to May 31.

On April 5, China Port Museum welcomed roughly 1,000 visitors, while the figures for Jiufeng Mountain and Meishan Bay Beach Park stood at 15,916 and 6,633.

Meanwhile, the local authorities have launched voucher programs to spur consumption.

The city's Beilun district has issued 10 million yuan ($1.44 million) worth of coupons for an array of food and beverages, which will remain valid until May 31.

Visitors can also receive a free tour to six scenic attractions in Jiangbei district as long as they spend a certain amount on accommodation and shopping through digital payment platforms before the end of May.

A total of 63 A-level scenic attractions in the city, including Xikou Scenic Area and Tianyi Pavilion-Moon Lake Scenic Area - both national 5A scenic attractions, the highest level in nation's classification for scenic areas - will waive entrance fees for medical workers throughout the year.
