Ningbo launches smart platform to manage parking space
YongChengBoChe, a smart car parking app, was launched in Ningbo, East China's Zhejiang province on April 23.
The app comes as part of the local authorities' efforts to better manage the parking space across the city.
It shall provide users with a full range of car parking service including guidance, parking enquiry and quick payment.
The app will help users to pinpoint the park lots, inform them the number park spaces available.
Users do not need to register for parking, and the parking time is calculated automatically by the app after the vehicle is registered on the platform.
Payment is available in a variety of ways, including WeChat, Alipay and Unionpay. Fees will deducted automatically after the vehicle leaves on the condition that the user's electronic wallets open automatic payment function.
Users could also access the app via WeChat.
A 24-hour service hotline-96382 for the app has also been established.
The app, developed by Ningbo comprehensive administrative law enforcement bureau, is trial running the city's Jiangbei district, Beilun district and Eastern New City.
The Qingjiang Road in Jiangbei district will be free of charge from April 23 to May 15.
By the end of this year, the app will cover the whole city.
