The fourth session of the 15th Ningbo Municipal Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) held its third plenary meeting on April 28.

Xu Yuning was elected chairman of the 15th Ningbo Municipal Committee of the CPPCC. 

Xu, born in May 1961, is a male of Han ethnicity from Longquan county, Zhejiang province. He entered the workforce in August 1981 and joined the Communist Party of China (CPC) in April 1986. He graduated from the Zhejiang provincial Party school and holds a master’s degree. 

Meanwhile, Gao Qingfeng, Lin Yalian and Ye Jianming were elected vice-chairpersons of the 15th Ningbo Municipal Committee of the CPPCC. 

Gao Qingfeng, born in December 1964, is a male of Han ethnicity from Ninghai county, Zhejiang province. He entered the workforce in August 1982 and joined the CPC in November 1991. He graduated from Party School of the CPC Central Committee and holds a master's degree. 

Lin Yalian, born in October 1966, is a female of Han ethnicity from Ningbo, Zhejiang province. She entered the workforce in August 1987 and joined the CPC in December 1986. She graduated from Ningbo University and holds a bachelor's degree. 

Ye Jianming, born in October 1967, is a male of Han ethnicity from Ningbo, Zhejiang province. He entered the workforce in July 1986 and joined the CPC in June 1986. He graduated from Party School of the CPC Central Committee and holds a bachelor's degree.
