All arrivals to Ningbo from China's high- and medium-risk areas will be required to undergo 14 days of quarantine at hotels, according to a statement on strengthening the control and prevention of COVID-19 released by local authorities.

They will also undergo two nucleic acid tests and antibody detection procedures before finishing quarantine.

Those with a fever or other abnormal symptoms will be transferred to a designated medical institution for diagnosis and treatment immediately.

Those who arrive in Ningbo from low-risk areas in Beijing and are unable to provide evidence such as negative nucleic acid or positive antibody test results from the past seven days will be transported directly to local designated medical institutions for testing.

Local residents are urged not to travel to middle and high-risk areas in the near future. Those who must travel for special reasons are required to report to their community or village and workplace in advance, and act with caution at all times.

The statement also urged relevant departments to strictly implement preventative measures such as taking temperatures, wearing face masks, and presenting health QR codes at certain places, such as wholesale agricultural markets, farmers' markets, wet markets, supermarkets, hospitals, and transit stations.
