A government delegation headed by Zheng Shanjie, secretary of the CPC Ningbo Municipal Committee, visited Hangzhou on June 30. 

Ningbo and Hangzhou agreed to strengthen bilateral ties in multiple areas during the visit. 

According to the agreements, the integrated developemnt betweeen Ningbo and Hangzhou will be upgraded to a medium - and long-term strategy adopted by the two cities.

They will coordinate efforts in industrial development and advance cooperation in digital information, new materials, automobile manufacturing, and healthcare. 

They also plan to strengthen the sharing of resources and public services and enhance cooperation in innovation, culture, tourism, and environmental conservation. 

Ningbo will be allowed to establish R&D organs in Hangzhou, and vice versa. 

They will work together to facilitate the construction of coordinated innovation zones in the Zhejiang FTZ and the bonded areas of both cities, strive to include both cities in the Zhejiang FTZ, and jointly host international conferences and exhibitions. 

Meanwhile, efforts will be made to accelerate infrastructure interconnectivity. 

During their trip, the delegation visited the places such as the Hangzhou International Expo Center, Hikvision Digital Technology Co Ltd, Hangzhou City Brain Operation Command Center, West Lake, Xixi Wetland, China (Hangzhou) Artificial Intelligence Town, Zhijiang Laboratory, and Alibaba Group.
