The 17th China International Stationery and Gifts Exposition (CNISE) is slated to be held at the Ningbo International Conference and Exhibition Center from July 16 to 17, according to local media reports.

The expo was originally scheduled for mid-March, but has been postponed due to the COVID-19 epidemic.

Nevertheless, a total of 1,107 exhibitors have confirmed that they will participate thus far, an unprecedented number for the stationery industry in the Asia-Pacific region.

A head official from the Ningbo municipal bureau of commerce revealed that more than 12,000 buyers have also signed up for the event, with the total number of attendees to exceed 20,000.

The exhibitors are primarily from 18 provinces and municipalities, including Zhejiang, Guangdong, Jiangsu, Anhui, and Shanghai, showcasing products ranging from stationery and office supplies to stationery production and processing equipment and parts. Enterprises from Ningbo account for 21 percent of all participating enterprises from Zhejiang.

As a national stationery manufacturing hub, Ninghai county, Ningbo will also send a number of influential stationery brands to the event.

A series of online matchmaking conferences linking domestic enterprises with overseas purchasers are also expected to be held on the sidelines of the event.
