A total of 289 fashion brands, including Youngor and Samsonite, from eight countries and regions across the world showcased their latest products at the 2020 Ningbo Fashion Festival & 24th Ningbo International Fashion Fair, which came to an end in Ningbo, East China's Zhejiang province, on Oct 25.

The three-day event, which featured 30 activities, including exhibitions, forums, business negotiation conferences, and fashion shows, attracted more than 10,000 domestic merchants and 48 trading groups from more than 20 provinces, municipalities, and autonomous regions across the nation.

The event also saw the signing of a series of cooperation agreements, which are expected to accelerate the transformation and upgrading of Ningbo's textile and garment industry and help the city develop into a national fashion hub.

For example, Ningbo Peacebird Fashion Co Ltd formed a partnership with Donghua University to establish the Peacebird Joint Innovation Center.

The company also signed a cooperation agreement with the China National Garment Association to establish the China Contemporary Youth Fashion Research Center.

In addition, Ningbo University will establish a fashion school by partnering with Youngor Group and Shenzhou International Group.

The event is jointly sponsored by the China National Textile and Apparel Council, the Ningbo Municipal People's Government, and the Zhejiang Provincial Department of the Economy and Information Technology.
