Magdalena Gimbut is an expert in Polish language and culture. She came to Fudan University to study Chinese in 2014.

During her studies she worked for the Consulate General of the Republic of Poland in Shanghai as a cultural affairs officer. 

 In 2016, she came to Ningbo by chance and transformed from an officer to a college teacher. She now works at Ningbo Tech University and plays an active role in cementing cooperation relationships between Chinese and Polish universities.
