Langshuqiao village has emerged as a popular rural tourism destination in Ningbo, as official statistics show that it welcomes over 500,000 visitors per year.

The ancient village, situated in Hemudu town, Yuyao city, is primarily inhabited by descendants of Qian Liu.

Qian was the founder and first king of the Kingdom of Wuyue (907-978) during the Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms period, ruling over roughly modern Zhejiang on the east coast of China.

Visitors to the village can explore how Siming Shierlei tea is made. The tea was a common tribute to emperors of the Southern Song Dynasty (1127-1279).

The ancient production technique for celadon using the Yue kilns can also be observed, as the village is home to the workshop of Ji Xihui, the only inheritor of the national intangible heritage.
