Eighty-three enterprises from Ningbo were listed among the 2020 Zhejiang Famous Export Brands, according to the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Commerce.

A total of 363 companies from Zhejiang made the list. Ningbo enterprises made up 22.9 percent of the total, ranking first in the province.

Among them, 21 are newcomers including ergonomic solution products manufacturer Loctek and air conditioner manufacturer Aux.

Forty-six enterprises are involved in mechanical electronics, 19 in light industry technology and 10 in textile and clothing. 

Last year, Ningbo's export volume reached 640.7 billion yuan, of which mechanical and electrical products accounted for half, reaching 353.42 billion yuan (54.37 billion), up 7.3 percent year-on-year, the same as the city's export growth rate.
