Ningbo Lishe International Airport will launch direct flights to six cities, including Lhasa, Xinzhou, Anshun, and Yulin, on March 28, bringing the total number of the airport's domestic destinations to 76.

Chongqing Airlines will open a daily flight to and from Lhasa, the first flight from Ningbo to Tibet autonomous region.

In addition, a new flight operated by Spring Airlines linking Ningbo and Yining in Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region is also scheduled to be launched in July. The 8-hour-and-10-minute flight will cover nearly 4,000 kilometers, becoming the longest domestic air route opened by Ningbo.

The city will also increase flights to major cities, such as Beijing, Wuhan, Shenyang, Guiyang, and Zhengzhou, providing more diverse travel options for its residents and visitors.

After the seasonal flight reshuffle, there will be up to 14 round trips between Ningbo and Beijing every day, including five to Beijing Capital International Airport, and the flights will be evenly distributed to facilitate the travel of passengers at different times.

The daily flights to and from the cities of Guiyang, Chengdu, and Kunming will also be increased to nine, eight, and six respectively, while the amount of flights to and from Zhengzhou and Wuhan will stand at eight and four respectively per day.

Air Macau will continue to operate a daily flight between Ningbo and Macao, while Spring Airlines is going to resume a weekly flight between Ningbo and Seoul, South Korea.
