Ningbo exhibition showcases paintings by mentally disabled

An exhibition featuring 33 paintings created by eight mentally disabled children opened at Ningbo Library on June 1, which was also International Children's Day.
A staff member from Ningbo Library said that they have been paying attention to the reading needs of disadvantaged people in the city and that the painting exhibition, which was launched with two public welfare agencies, aims to create a platform for mentally disabled young artists.
The exhibition is slated to run until June 13 and is open to the public for free.
