Today marks World Bicycle Day, as cycling has gained worldwide popularity as an environmental-friendly sport.

In April 2018, the United Nations General Assembly declared June 3 to be World Bicycle Day.

Dongqian Lake is a recommended place to go cycling in Ningbo, East China's Zhejiang province. Professional cycling tracks have been erected around the lake.

The lake is also the largest natural freshwater lake in Zhejiang and is three times the size of West Lake in Hangzhou. While riding around Dongqian Lake, cyclists can admire enchanting lakeside views.
