An original show showcasing the history of Yue kiln celadon recently made its debut in Cixi, a county-level city in Ningbo, East China's Zhejiang province.
The show is accompanied by music created by hitting celadon vessels and has adopted virtual reality (VR) technologies.
It is part of the sixth edition of the Yue Kiln Celadon Cultural Festival that opened in Cixi on June 16.
The event, which is jointly sponsored by the Zhejiang provincial department of culture and tourism, as well as the Cixi municipal government, aims to further promote celadon culture in Cixi.
Yue kiln celadon was first made in the Eastern Han Dynasty (25-220) in locations including the Shanglin Lake area in Cixi, which was part of Yue prefecture during the Tang Dynasty (618-907).
