A grand gathering celebrating the centenary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) was held at Tian'anmen Square in the heart of Beijing on July 1.

Among the invited on-site attendees were five CPC members from Ningbo, Zhejiang province, who had received the national titles of outstanding Party members, exemplary Party workers, and advanced community-level Party organizations in Beijing on June 28.

They were Fu Pingjun, Party secretary of Tengtou village in Fenghua district, Chen Junhao, Party secretary of a volunteer service center in Beilun district, Zhang Yongmei, Party secretary of Zhenhai High School, Huang Kewei, Party secretary of Hengkantou villiage in Yuyao, and Zhang Jianer, Party secretary of a convenient service hotline center.
