A wood carving of the Red Boat on Nanhu Lake was recently displayed in Yangming sub-district, Yuyao, a county-level city of Ningbo, East China's Zhejiang province.

The Red Boat on Nanhu Lake in Jiangxi, Zhejiang is the site where the Community Party of China held its first national congress.

Measuring 1 meter in length and 0.4 meters, the carving was made by Yu Weijang and his friends from rosewood. It is a replica of the Red Boat, but is scaled down at the same proportion.

According to Yu, he spent more than two months to craft the boat.
