Ningbo in East China's Zhejiang province recently was listed among national demonstration cities for supply chain innovation and application, according to the Ningbo municipal bureau of commerce.

A total of 10 cities from across the nation made the list. The other nine cities on the list were Beijing, Shanghai, Zhangjiagang, Hangzhou, Shenzhen, Qingdao, Wuhan and Guangzhou.

In addition, 94 companies, including Ningbo-based logistic service supplier Sinotrans&CSC, were also designated national models in supply chain innovation and application.

In 2018, Ningbo was included in the nation's pilot program to promote supply chain innovation and application.
