A group of college students recently visited Longshan town in Ningbo, East China's Zhejiang province to learn about rural revitalization.
Students from College of Science & Technology Ningbo University undertook a project to learn about rural revitalization in Longshan town, where they visited scenic spots and interviewed locals.
The key to rural revitalization in the town is the minsu business, which translates as "Chinese-style bed and breakfast homestay", referring to villager homes that have been renovated. Thanks to the development of the rural tourism industry, the minsu business has been booming in recent years, helping to preserve the traditional culture in the town as well as achieve common prosperity.
"We want to introduce the beautiful country life to more people by making short videos," said Wang Jin, a student from College of Science & Technology Ningbo University, "We plan to shoot a series of videos showcasing the beauty of minsus in Longshan town, which will be later posted on platforms such as Weibo and WeChat accounts."
Some students also depicted the scenery, architecture and red tourism destinations of the town in the form of paintings and photos.
