World Digital Economy Conference kicks off in Ningbo

The 2021 World Digital Economy Conference was held in Ningbo, East China's Zhejiang province on Oct 15, marking the opening of the 11th Smart City and Intelligent Economy Expo.
With a theme of "Digital Drive, Intelligent Development", the three-day event will organize eight different kinds of activities in both online and offline venues, including an exhibition, forums, project matchmaking meetings, achievement releases, as well as competitions.
Twelve forums involving 5G plus industrial internet, artificial intelligence and carbon neutrality, digital villages, as well as other topics will be held to explore digital reform and the development of digital economy in Ningbo during the 14th Five-Year Plan period (2021-25).
Covering an area of 20,000 square meters, the offline exhibition includes four exhibition halls for digital economy, smart manufacturing, smart cities, as well as future industries respectively, with more than 200 exhibitors showcasing their latest products, technologies, and applications.
Nearly 1,200 companies are participating in the online exhibition.
