Due to epidemic prevention efforts, the 2021 China (Ningbo) Cultural Industries Fair (NBCIF) will be held online from Nov 26 to 30.

This year's event will feature various online activities, including exhibitions, conferences, and book parties, during which a digital platform integrating exhibitions, trade, communication and activities will be set up.

A series of livestream activities will be launched, such as the Third Smart Culture and Tourism Conference, during which celebrities and experts on the economy, tourism and culture will discuss the development of the culture and tourism industry.

A 24-hour livestream will begin at 7 pm on Nov 26, during which artisans will introduce the history and culture of Ningbo, focusing on intangible cultural heritages, folk culture, opera and food.

In addition, digital coupons worth 5 million yuan ($782,618) will be issued for residents to facilitate local consumption, which can be used at more than 200 businesses across the city, such as hotels, minsus (Chinese-style bed and breakfast homestay), scenic spots, restaurants, libraries, cinemas and amusement parks.
